The Big Squeeze, a super-charged lemonade stand fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton , is set for Aug. 5. “It’s quite crazy, honestly, to think about this money is coming from these businesses hosting lemonade stands,” said summer student Kaleigh Dearing. This is the sixth year for the annual summer fundraiser held across Sarnia and the rest of Lambton County. This year’s total climbs to 79 when businesses running internal lemonade stands are added in, said Emma Grant, one of three summer students organizing the fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters. The locations for this year’s lemonade stands are posted on the Big Brothers Big Sister’s Facebook page and include an increase in stands outside of Sarnia.
