The proposal would allow Americans to recover money obtained through government corruption.
On Thursday, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer announced that he will introduce legislation to create an anti-corruption office aimed at preventing presidents from benefiting as President Donald Trump is doing.
For that reason, he introduced the legislation with two goals: First, to give Americans their money back.
“Just because Trump stole Americans’ money doesn’t mean it belongs to him.
Americans deserve to get that money back,” Schumer pointed out.
