Out-of-control bonfires, a discarded cigarette and bin fires were among the causes of the blazes on Wednesday. Six crews battled a blaze near Stapletons Lane, outside Aylsham, with specialist wildfire vehicles and a water carrier from 2pm to around 7pm. Around eight fire crews attended, and a number of road closures were in place, including on the A47 until just before 8pm. There was also a wildfire near Buxton which affected an area of 50m by 50m and a stubble field fire near Gunton.
