Police begin search as biker seriously injured in crash

The crashed happened in Southern Avenue, Leominster Thursday (July 30) and left the motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, with serious and potentially life-threatening injuries, police said.
"We were called to Southern Avenue in Leominster shortly after 8.10am today (Thursday, July 30) following a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a stationary lorry," said a spokesperson from the West Mercia Police.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were also called to the scene.
Officers are keen to hear from witnesses who saw the motorcycle in the moments before the crash, or the crash itself.
The biker was treated at the scene and airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, the ambulance service said.
