Ross Community Larder, located at the foot of the steps to St Mary’s Church, operates every Tuesday from 9am to 11am. Nearly 40 people receive food support each week, with many also taking up the offer of tea, toast, and a friendly conversation. The Larder is sponsored by the churches of Ross, with nearly 30 volunteers actively engaged most months. Trustees recently organised an anniversary tea to recognise the work of the charity’s volunteers, with the foodbank supported by voluntary contributions from right across the community.
