The four-metre-tall mascot, named Lord Waddlington, arrived at a hotel in Ledbury as part of The Coaching Inn Group’s 30th anniversary nationwide tour. The lord is a company mascot. The tour features a tombola, discount codes, and giveaways, including the chance to win a free stay or a dinner for two. The Coaching Inn Group was founded in 1996 and was acquired by RedCat Hospitality in 2021 with 18 venues. A company spokesperson said: "May 22nd 2026 marks 30 years of The Coaching Inn Group welcoming guests with warm fires, generous plates and genuine hospitality.
