The Western Resilience Center is looking for volunteers for its climate crew to help on various projects.
From 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, the WRC and Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust will restore wet meadows north of Hayden.
Volunteers will build rock restoration structures — known as Zeedyk structures — that restore and protect ecosystems.
From 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 21 and Aug. 22, volunteers will also build Zeedyk structures in California Park.
From 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursdays throughout the summer, volunteers can help WRC staff conduct forest regeneration following wildfires.
