Former Bearcats receiver and current Indianapolis Colts receiver Alec Pierce was placed on the PUP list, which is for players who are Physically Unable to Perform. Peirce had a monster season for the Colts; in 15 games, he caught 47 passes for 1,003 yards and 6 touchdowns. The Colts had an up-and-down season, starting 8-2 under starting quarterback Daniel Jones before he went down with a torn Achilles in Week 14. Reports suggest that Pierce may only need another week of rehab before beginning practice next Wednesday, on August 5th. The Colts do seem to be taking a cautious approach towards Pierce and his ankle injury, but they did just give the guy $114 million.
