The Green Party of Ontario’s deputy leader Aislinn Clancy paid a visit to a Brant County farmer on Wednesday morning to hear concerns over the Airport Boundary Agreement. Kirby’s farm was originally part of 1,349 acres of Brant County land that was slated to be absorbed by the City of Brantford. “It makes it more difficult to farm when you’ve got a large urban area emptying traffic onto your road. The farmer was frustrated when he attended a recent public open house about the Airport Boundary Agreement, saying it was difficult to ask questions and get answers. So, a community-led meeting was held on July 21 that drew about 130 people to hear concerns over the issue.
