Always a highlight for sheepdog enthusiasts, this year’s event will see 131 dogs and their handlers compete for the top awards. The dog and handler with the most points over the three days takes the supreme, with the top 15 then going on to represent Scotland at the International Sheepdog Trials. Fiona McMillan, Scottish National president, said: “I am delighted that the Sheepdog Trials for the Scottish National are heading to Letham Farm, Glenfarg, Perth, on August 19-22, 2026. I am sure we will have a great Scottish National and hope we get the best team to represent Scotland at the International in the Cotswolds, in September. Admittance to the Scottish National is free for members and £5 for non-members.
