The building, in Blackfriars Street, King's Lynn, includes two shop areas, a work area and a small kitchen on the ground floor. It was formerly Violet's, an independent florist, which has been closed for at least five years, according to locals. The freehold property was sold for £65,000, which was the guide price for the building, on July 29 via Auction House East Anglia. "According to the Valuation Office website, the shop and premises have a current rateable value of £9,400," a spokesman for the auction house said. It closed in 2023 after 25 years of business and is up for a guide price of £100,000 to £120,000.
