Happisburgh RNLI's Russell Pickering crew was alerted at 2.12pm on Wednesday to reports of an inflatable floating off Eccles beach. When the crew located the inflatable, with no one on board, they realised it was a blow-up orca. After confirming that no one was missing or in danger, the crew returned to station and prepared for their next call-out. The water safety team has advised the public not to use inflatables in the sea, as winds can take swimmers out to sea so quickly. "If you take one to the beach and it floats out to sea, then please call the Coastguard and tell them," the spokesman added.
