Rolling Pin Lane, in Dereham, is scheduled to shut to pedestrians from Monday. This is to fix the potholes on the track, with the work to be funded and carried out by Norfolk County Council. The closure will be in effect from where the path joins at Littlefields up to Sardis Way. The council added that the closure will help to restore the footpath "to a safe condition for all". A diversion route will come into effect - taking pedestrians via Sardis Way, the Grove, and Littlefields.
