One person is dead following a head-on crash on the east side of White Pigeon Tuesday afternoon. The Michigan State Police said the incident happened on U.S. 12 near Lima Road. A 64-year-old man from Bridgman suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Investigation revealed a GMC Envoy was traveling east on U.S. 12 when it attempted to pass multiple vehicles. The 20-year-old driver of the Envoy, a man from White Pigeon, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
