Aurora entered service in 2000 and was named by HRH Princess Anne.
The 76,000-tonne vessel is one of P&O Cruises' best-known ships and accommodates more than 1,800 guests across nine passenger decks.
Before arriving in Greenock, Aurora had called at Plymouth, Cork, Waterford, Liverpool and Belfast during her round-Britain itinerary.
The ship is scheduled to depart Greenock this evening before sailing on to Kirkwall in Orkney.
She will then continue to South Queensferry and the Port of Tyne before returning to Southampton to complete her voyage.
