The free Recognition to Rights course will take place in Greenock and is designed to help carers in Inverclyde better understand their rights, build confidence, and develop advocacy skills. Running over five weeks, the programme is organised by Carers Gateway Inverclyde. Each session covers a different subject, starting with a look at the history of the carers and disabled people’s movement. The following weeks will explore carers' rights, self-directed support, and real-life stories of change. Carers who wish to take part can reserve a place by contacting Carers Gateway Inverclyde on 01475 602700.
