The intelligence-led operation took place across the Obbo Aiyegunle, Ejiu Ora, and Osi axis of Ekiti Local Government Area, a border community linking Kwara and Ekiti states. During the raid, three suspected bandits were neutralised, while nine victims held captive by the criminals were rescued. A member of the Kwara State Forest Guards, Owolabi Adebayo, confirmed that three suspected bandits were killed during the operation.
