Multiple people, some armed with a crowbar and a chain, were involved in the fight on the Cowley Road near Manzil Way between 6.30pm and 7.15pm on Wednesday, July 22. Police officers rushed there and arrested a 25-year-old man from Oxford on suspicion of affray, criminal damage and common assault. In addition, a 24-year-old man from Oxford was also arrested on suspicion of affray and threatening someone with an offensive weapon in public. A crowbar and a chain was also seized from the scene of the fight.
