Vijayawada: As many as 62.65 lakh children in Andhra Pradesh will undergo 38 types of medical tests free of cost under Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) 2.0 programme being implemented in the state. AP Health minister Satya Kumar Yadav inaugurated the state-level RBSK 2.0 at a tribal residential high school located at Maredumilli of Rampachodavaram mandal in Polavaram district on Thursday. They are also testing the eyes of 43.30 lakh children. He said he is delighted to start the state-wide RBSK 2.0 programme in Rampachodavaram, where tribal children are more, so that their health issues could be resolved. The remaining 41.70 lakh children are aged between six years and 18 years and studying in government and government-affiliated schools.
