State Govt Clears ₹6,000 Crore Dues of Employees in 100 Days

The state government cleared `6,000 crore pending dues of employees and pensioners within 100 days by releasing the final instalment of `2,000 crore on Thursday.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka had on April 24 promised to clear `6,000 crore in 100 days by releasing `2,000 crore every month in three instalments starting May.
Accordingly, the state government released `2,000 crore each on May 29, June 30 and the final instalment on Thursday.
Bhatti said the Congress government has once again demonstrated its commitment to the welfare of employees by clearing `6,000 crore dues in a record 100 days.
He said government has accorded top priority to the welfare of retired employees.
