Visakhapatnam: The Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI), Visakhapatnam chapter, welcomed the Andhra Pradesh government's G.O. 161 amending the Andhra Pradesh Building Rules, 2017. The association appreciated that the revised rules simplify building approval processes, reduce compliance costs, and encourage sustainable urban development. Addressing a press conference in Visakhapatnam on Thursday, Credai Andhra Pradesh president Bayana Srinivasa Rao said the amendments address several long-pending issues raised by the association through stakeholder consultations. Visakhapatnam chapter Credai president E. Ashok Kumar said the revised provisions would help reduce procedural delays, create a more efficient and transparent regulatory framework for the real estate sector, and provide a significant boost to planned urban growth across Andhra Pradesh.
