WARANGAL: An apple-laden truck overturned on the Warangal–Khammam National Highway near Matedu village in Thorrur mandal of Mahabubabad district on Thursday morning, resulting in traffic disruption and the loss of its cargo after onlookers collected the scattered fruit. Boxes of apples were strewn across the highway following the accident. Witnesses said the consignment was cleared from the road within about 15 minutes. The incident disrupted traffic on the busy highway for nearly an hour. The overturned truck was later removed from the road.
