Grovetown, GA - Sharon "Dee" Karraker Mauntel, 85, of Grovetown, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on July 25, 2026. She taught at St. Patrick Catholic School in Missouri and St. Joan of Arc Catholic School in Kokomo, Indiana, and served as a volunteer firefighter and instructor with Harrison Township Fire Department. She is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Marlo Mahaney and John Mauntel; five grandchildren; and siblings, Terry Karraker and Laurie Causey. The funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 14, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Teresa of Avila with Fr. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
