Greg Case, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of global professional services firm Aon, said the company does not see artificial intelligence (AI) as a standalone strategy, but rather as an accelerant of what it has already been working on for many years. Speaking during Aon’s Q2 2026 earnings call, Case explained that the firm did not start with an AI strategy, but sees the technology, more specifically generative AI, as an acceleration opportunity. “We didn’t start with an AI strategy, that to us doesn’t exist. Case noted that one of the things Aon brings to the table that’s fundamentally different isn’t just productivity orientation, instead the firm orientates AI around revenue and growth. So these are things that are revenue generating engines on behalf of clients that are driven and reinforced through our ABS strategy with AI.
