It is the first weekend in August, and there are a few events planned for August 1st and 2nd, 2026 as well as a Fundraiser Dinner for Madison Borges and the Borges Family on Wednesday August 5th. The event also helps the community by providing high quality clothes, housewares, and outdoor materials for low costs. The 2026 Wildcat Kickoff Dinner this Saturday is a fundraising event for the Sonora High School Foundation, athletics, and clubs. Sunday morning from 9 AM – 1 PM is the Murphys Park Farmers Market at Murphys Park. Calaveras County Arts Council presents the Music in the Parks Summer Concert Series at a different park each week.
