Franklin County Schools have named Stephanie Martin their 2026-2027 Support Person of the Year. Initially named the Franklin County High School Support Person of the Year, Martin has worked for the Franklin County School System since 2017. In presenting Martin with the FCHS Support Person of the Year award, new high school principal Curtis Chitwood read accolades from several of her coworkers. While at Franklin County High School, Martin worked as a bookkeeper for the CTAE, CTAE/SAA and as the High School bookkeeper. This year, she has transitioned to South Franklin Elementary School as their bookkeeper.
