Tom Holland was surprised when an MCU actor spectacularly gatecrashed his shoot. He didn’t expect Captain America to visit him during filming of Spider-Man: Brand New Day after all. While shooting at Pinewood Studios, Mackie walked in with his Captain America suit, much to the delight of the Spider-Man crew. Holland told Josh Horowitz, “We were shooting in Peter’s apartment, and I was doing this scene, and all of a sudden Captain America was like in my apartment.” In his very first movie in the MCU (Captain America: Civil War), the 30-year-old actor came face-to-face with Mackie in 2016.
