Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - Young golfers in Southwest Louisiana will have another chance to learn the game as the City of Lake Charles' Partners in Parks Initiative joins forces once again with Mallard Golf Club for a second free Junior Golf Clinic on Monday, August 3, 2026. Get our free mobile appParticipants will receive hands-on instruction from Mallard Golf Club's PGA Professional, who will introduce the fundamentals of golf through interactive lessons, games, and skill-building activities. Families won't need to bring any equipment, as golf clubs and all necessary supplies will be available for participants during the event. To help everyone stay cool throughout the morning, Lake Charles Coca-Cola is partnering with organizers by providing refreshments for the young golfers. The clinic is free and open to the public, but registration is encouraged.
