Goose Creek location is one of five Petsense stores in South Carolina confirmed for closure as company restructures pet retail businessGOOSE CREEK, S.C. — Petsense in Goose Creek will permanently close as part of a nationwide effort by Tractor Supply Company to shutter approximately 75 underperforming Petsense locations across the country.
The Goose Creek store, located at 98 Davenport St., is one of five South Carolina Petsense locations confirmed for closure by a Tractor Supply spokesperson.
Tractor Supply President and CEO Hal Lawton told investors the decision was made after a disciplined evaluation of the company’s operations.
We are working hard to transfer them to roles at other Petsense or Tractor Supply stores wherever possible.
Customers will continue to have access to Tractor Supply stores, Petsense.com, TractorSupply.com, Allivet pharmacy and VIP Petcare services where available.”
