Paramount+ has greenlit a Clueless sequel series, with original star Alicia Silverstone reprising her role as Cher Horowitz from the original movie. “Picking up 30 years after the original film, beloved Beverly Hills icon Cher Horowitz has figured out a lot,” reads the official logline. All three will serve as executive producers alongside Silverstone and the original film’s writer/director, Amy Heckerling. This isn’t the first Clueless series. Rachel Blanchard took over as Cher for a three-season show, also titled Clueless, after Silverstone was unavailable to reprise the role.
