VALDOSTA – Seventeen legends took their rightful place as immortals when they were inducted into the Valdosta Wildcat Hall of Fame Saturday night. “First, I’d like to thank the Hall of Fame Committee for their induction into the 2026 class of the Valdosta Wildcat Hall of Fame,” Baldwin said. Nathaniel Caesar (1977-80)Caesar was a star defensive back for the ‘Cats, and played on the 1977 State-Runner Up team and the 1978 State Championship team. Fugett played for Wildcat Hall of Fame coach Butch Brooks who was assisted by fellow Hall of Fame Coach Charles Tarpley. He was a member of the 1978 Valdosta Wildcat State Championship Baseball team under Wildcat Hall of Famer Butch Brooks and assisted by fellow Hall of Famer Charles Tarpley.
