DIMAPUR: In a remarkable display of unity and community spirit, volunteers from Chessore came together to repair the monsoon damaged Hukir-Chessore Road and support the timely completion of the Lighthouse NECTAR Project in Chessore Town. The joint initiative was carried out by Chessore Town Baptist Church, Chessore Town Public Forum, and contractors from Lighthouse NECTAR. To support the workers, the Chessore Town Baptist Church sponsored food for all participants, ensuring their care throughout the day. They expressed gratitude to Lighthouse NECTAR, volunteers, community leaders and church members for their contributions. Besides repairing the Hukir-Chessore Road, Lighthouse NECTAR also took the initiative to repair the road stretch from the high school to the town junction.
