As described by his rescuers, the senior pooch who no one wanted, was indeed at death’s door when he arrived. Rocky’s past was unknown, but there had been no doubt, when the senior dog needed his family the most, they felt no remorse and left him behind in a dirt pile off a well-traveled path on the beach.
