WWE files multiple new trademarks, including AWA

On July 29, the company filed to trademark AWA for merchandise purposes, including toys, games, clothing, collectibles and other goods and services.
WWE previously held a similar trademark for AWA from 2010 until it was abandoned in 2014.
The company also holds an AWA trademark for wrestling-related purposes, as well as a trademark covering downloadable mobile applications dating back to 2014.
Other recent trademark filings by WWE include three video game-related titles: WWE Lock It In, WWE Championship Gold, and WWE Scratchcard.
