The first stage of the Sentinel Strike Challenge organised by the European Defence Agency has concluded. More than 140 companies were interested, and now the EDA has named five firms that will move to the finals of the competition. According to the EDA, the Sentinel Strike Challenge is “a two-stage competition designed to evaluate and field-test Europe’s most promising loitering munition technologies.” As stated, more than 140 companies have expressed their interest, and five of them have been chosen by the EDA to advance to the next stage. Those businesses are Helsing (Germany), Destinus (Netherlands), C-Astral Aerospace (Slovenia), UAVision (Portugal) and SAS Tech (Greece).
