Modular hydraulic props from Groundforce Shorco are providing vital support on a project to refurbish Teddington Lock on the River Thames in west London. While work is underway on the Launch Lock, adjacent Barge Lock remains operational to divert river traffic. The props were installed and pressurised to balance the earth pressure acting on the lock walls.
