Great Lakes Brewing Co., Cleveland’s largest brewery, is setting up shop in Pittsburgh International Airport sometime this fall. Great Lakes Brewing CEO Chris Brown said in a release that Pennsylvania has long been one of the brewery’s top markets, and Pittsburgh International was a logical choice for expansion. Pittsburgh International becomes Great Lakes’ fourth location, joining its original 1988 brewpub in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood and smaller outposts in Canton and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. “This aligns with our strategy of offering a mix of local, regional, national and international brands to meet the diverse needs of passengers at Pittsburgh International Airport and the tri-state region our airport serves,” he said. Great Lakes plans to announce its full food and drink menus and the grand opening at Pittsburgh International at a later date.
