Former championship-winning Jayhawks will go against each other for a second time this season in the Canadian Football League, and Marcus Barnes wants a different result. Barnes and Kennedy were teammates at Jeannette and won WPIAL and PIAA Class A titles together in 2017. Barnes played college football at William & Mary, recording 214 tackles and nine interceptions in 47 career games. “I was working last summer, but I didn’t give up on playing,” Barnes said. When he was at Jeannette, Kennedy always strove to be better and never settled on his accolades.
