Chartiers Valley School District officials announced new regulations for students’ personal electronic devices during the school day. Sable said the initiative will help the district provide students a strong educational experience in a safe, supportive and engaging way. Primary School students should not bring personal electronic devices to school. Middle School students are also required to place their personal electronic devices in their lockers for the entire school day. Neighboring school district Carlynton implemented a policy restricting student cellphone use last school year.
