JULY 29--Setting fire to the church where you are scheduled to be married is no cure for a bride-to-be’s cold feet. The blaze, arson investigators reported, appeared to have started beneath a chair stacked along a wall in the church’s Relief Society room. The criminal probe resulted in Monday’s arrest of Lenita Moreno for aggravated arson, theft, and providing false information to police. Moreno’s fiancé told police that he and Moreno had been in the Relief Society room minutes before the fire alarm went off. A court public safety assessment report indicates that Moreno has no prior felony or misdemeanor convictions on her record.
