The community Music Institute Chorale sings the Mass in G by Franz Schubert at the summer sing-along at Nichols Concert Hall. About 25 residents took the stage and sang the mass and Wolfgang Mozart’s Coronation Mass under the direction of Music Institute of Chicago conductor Daniel Wallenberg. They rehearsed four times at the concert hall and were joined by soloists on stage and by friends in the audience. The group will perform a fall and winter concert. Auditions will be in August and September.
