It’s official: the new Vampire: The Masquerade project that publisher White Wolf has been teasing for months now is the sixth edition of the tabletop roleplaying game. During its “The Future of White Wolf: A World of Darkness Roadmap” panel at Gen Con 2026 today, the company confirmed what fans had suspected and provided more details about some of the most significant changes coming in Vampire: The Masquerade 6th Edition, also known as V6. “With Vampire: The Masquerade 6th Edition, players get a faster engine that still keeps the things Vampire: The Masquerade veterans love, while removing friction,” said Diogo Nogueira, lead game designer at White Wolf, in a press release.
