(Lafayette, LA) - Camp Hope, Faith House's annual summer camp, is fully underway, and the camp provides children impacted by domestic violence with a respite from those serious issues. The camp is held each year by staff from Faith House and by multiple volunteers from the seven parishes served by the domestic violence shelter. Dealing with domestic violence has to be very tough for children, and providing a place to relax offers them time to just be children. Officials at Faith House say this time is helping them to create positive memories and interactions.
