However, they could not muster much offense and fell 5-0 to the Brazos Valley Bombers in Game 2 of their semifinal playoff series. Brazos Valley plated a run in the first inning and two more in the second to take an early 3-0 lead. In the top of the ninth, the Bombers added more distance between themselves and the Generals with a run to make the tally 5-0.
