The report identified an additional 21 station areas as being in the “mid-term” stage. The association recently launched its second report in its “Homes on Track: Connecticut” initiative which is aimed at creating accessible, walkable communities. The transit zone is defined as areas within a half mile of a train station or a quarter mile of a bus stop.
