The former XL Center, known by that name since 2007, is now the People’s Bank Arena.
“CRDA should improve monitoring over its facilities manager to ensure compliance with contract requirements,” auditors said in their recommendation.
The Capital Region Development Authority is a quasi-public agency created by the legislature in 2012 to stimulate new investment within the Hartford region.
It also operates, maintains and markets the Connecticut Convention Center and the Connecticut Science Center, and it facilitates the relocation of state office buildings.
