–Only minor injuries were reported after a spray plane crash landed on a rural acreage south of Algona Wednesday afternoon. Emergency personnel responded to the scene, where they located a Cessna Model A188B spray plane, registered to D&K Aviation out of Milford, Iowa. The pilot was the only occupant onboard the plane when it crashed after losing power and clipping power lines near the residence at that address. Midland Power Cooperative was notified so they could repair the power lines damaged by the plane. The Federal Aviation Administration has been notified, and they will conduct their own investigation into the crash.
