A pair of area baseball players and an area coach are set to take part in the Iowa Baseball Coaches Association All-Star series. The annual series brings together many of the state’s top graduating senior baseball players to compete in a showcase event celebrating their outstanding high school careers. Bishop Garrigan baseball coach Rob Meister will be an assistant coach on the Small Schools West team. One of the players selected to the Small Schools West team is Bishop Garrigan’s Tate Foertsch. The Small Schools West team will play the Large Schools West team at 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon at Kirkwood Community College.
