NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art has announced their Fall/Winter 2026-2027 season of special performances, which is pretty exciting. It begins with Lykke Li, who plays The Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium on September 16. St. Vincent (on February 20), Jason Isbell (on February 2), and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram (on October 2 and 3) all perform in the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium as part of The Met’s “Guitar Icons” series. The performances will each feature “a historical instrument from The Met collection,” and the series, which is presented with the Department of Musical Instruments, “marks the new gallery dedicated to celebrating the American guitar at The Met.” Tickets are on sale now, and all details are here.
