The Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, has received international commendation for reforms being implemented in the country’s education sector. ‎The commendation came from the former President of Tanzania and Chairman of the Board of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), Dr Jakaya Kikwete, during a meeting with the minister. ‎The former Tanzanian president also expressed optimism ahead of the Global Education Summit scheduled for September. ‎The minister reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to advancing education reforms under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda through stronger partnerships, increased investment and evidence-based policies. ‎The summit is expected to mobilise greater global investment and strengthen international partnerships in support of quality education through the GPE.
